In reaching the final they created one of the greatest upsets in the semi beating much fancied Offaly. It was one of their greatest triumphs winning 4-15 to 1-15 in a storming finish. 

Though while finally well beaten by Tipperary in the All Ireland decider this classic jersey is a fitting tribute to the team that elevated hurling in Ulster.
