Scullion Hurls into Quarter Finals!
Antrim hurlers pulled off a dramatic win over Dublin last Saturday to set up a All Ireland Quarter Final clash with Cork this Sunday. Liam 'Winker' Watson was one of the players last weekend and will be hoping to get himself on the scoresheet again this weekend. Liam called into the workshop this week to collect a couple of new handmade hurls ahead the game.

Well I reckon I'm a destined for a Junior B Allstar anyhow!! I couldnt resist it when I got the chance to put the most famous and treasurered prize in hurling above my head. The laim McCarthy Cup was on show at a recent meeting of the Irish Guild of Ash Hurley Makers in Thurles, Co. Tipperary. I'm hoping I'm not the last Antrim man to lift it this year! Though on our record I should have ran when I had the chance... Still, good luck to our hurlers tomorrow against the Dubs. I'm sure it'll be a tight clash!
